George “Johnny” Johnson, one of the last surviving Dambusters, sets off on an emotional journey to rediscover his past. He finds and digs up his old Dambuster bomber, shot down on a later raid, and travels back to the giant German dams that he once attacked with the “Bouncing Bomb” to meet his former enemies and relive the most famous air raid of World War Two.
